January 27 2008 day 108 – It really is been seven months…

So yeah, it really is been 7 months since I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes(LADA). New way of life. New relationship (with my insulin pump). My attitude to managing this condition has been basic:
Find out as significantly as you can about this disease, make the needed adjustments to your program/life style, and continue living life to the fullest. It appears to be operating so far. I want that a remedy would be accessible in my lifetime, but would want young children to get it 1st. Some day, I hope to sit down to a great house-cooked meal with my loved ones and take pleasure in dinner with no worrying about carb. counts and insulin doses. Some day…

This group has been like a virtual &quotCheers&quot for me. They laugh, cry, cheer each other, and carry on to live life and flourish, in spite of being touched by Diabetes in some way or the other. Thank you. So yeah, 7 months. I am just acquiring warmed up.
